Copper Rock Golf Course is slated to open in late February for preview play. Located near Hurricane, Utah and close to Sand Hollow Reservoir, Copper Rock is an excellent addition to the multiple high-quality golf courses in and around St. George, Utah. Designed by golf architect Dale Beddo, the front nine offers a mix of fun risk reward short par 4’s, a stout, snake-like par five with a 75 yard long green and some great par 3’s! Sparkling white sand bunkers frame the layout with the surrounding contrasting native grasses and brush. Fast greens put a premium on putting, and the greens are a “Putters Paradise” for true quick rolls.

The back nine changes up the land, and gently rolls up and down two hills, providing some great long views of Pine Valley Mountain and the surrounding epic cliffs. Two completely different land settings will define the layout, and the back will definitely challenge a bit more. The 9th and 18th green share a putting surface with a nasty bunker in the middle, this unique bunker will no doubt be a memorable feature of Copper Rock, and will provide some unusual and interesting putting positions for those few who miss in the wrong spot.
