With two different types of terrain between the front and back nine, outward holes wind along the Santa Clara river, and bring numerous water hazards into play. While the golf course is pretty forgiving in width and architecture, you still need to strike the ball well to score here.
The inward holes, completely change the look of the golf with elevation changes and holes playing through washes and the hills of St. George. The back nine also offer nice views of Zion National Park in the distance, Snow Canyon State Park to the west, and the striking black lava rock of The Black Hill.

Staff Insider Tip – Quality municipal golf with a good mix of playability and challenge. While not a signature layout for the area, the golf course did get much more interesting with the renovation, and offers a solid value and an inexpensive round of golf.
